Erin has worked as a news anchor and reporter in a variety of cities across the country for more than a decade, and she takes great pleasure in sharing her enthusiasm for storytelling with the residents of Connecticut.
Erin’s most recent job was as a weekend anchor and reporter for Time Warner Cable News in Albany, New York, where she worked for a total of four years. Her reports were broadcast in seven markets, including Albany, Hudson Valley, Syracuse, Binghamton, Utica, Watertown, and Elmira. Binghamton, Utica, and Watertown were also included.
Erin covered a variety of significant political issues, including many visits by the President. The Travers Stakes horse race in Saratoga Springs, New York; the New York State Fair in Syracuse, New York; and the men’s NCAA Final Four Basketball tournament in Atlanta, Georgia were some of her favorite live-field anchoring jobs. She did these three events in different cities. Erin also served as a co-host for the Albany St. Patrick’s Day Parade on four separate occasions.
Before joining TWC News, Erin worked as a weekend anchor and reporter for WCTI (ABC/FOX) in New Bern, North Carolina. This was prior to her joining TWC News. She reported during the week and headlined and produced a weekly one-hour program on the weekends that she also produced. Prior to that, Erin was in the Midwest, where she worked for KEYC (CBS/FOX) in Mankato, Minnesota, as a weekend anchor and as a one-man-band reporter.
Inside Edition, a popular and widely syndicated television program was Erin’s first employment in the television industry. She worked as a story coordinator in a fast-paced newsroom, booking multiple exclusives, and she had the opportunity to interview a number of news personalities and celebrities at red carpet events, such as Walter Cronkite, Elton John, John Travolta, Jon Bon Jovi, and Billy Joel. She also had the opportunity to book multiple exclusives.
Erin also held the position of Vice President of her class, was a member of the Chi Omega sorority, wrote an opinion column for the Tufts Daily, worked as a tour guide on campus, was an anchor and reporter for TUTV News, and was a co-host on a television dating show. She attended classes at Talloires, France, during one of her summers spent studying in another country.
