In March 2020, Troy started working for the Fox16 Sports division as a columnist and end-of-week anchor. The STAA rated Troy one of the top 12 college sportscasters in the nation during his most recent two years at ASU, and his narrative “Going Tragedy to Triumph” earned him a public BEA grant.
Troy covered MLB Spring Training, the NHL, NFL, NBA, Waste Management Open, and Arizona State athletics while he was a student. He also served as the stand-in in-game host for the baseball and people’s ball teams at Arizona State for two seasons.
