Killian was also an intern at WVTM 13 News in Birmingham where she worked the assignment desk, shadowed reporters and photographers, and wrote stories for newscasts. She studied at The University of Alabama, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Telecommunications and Film, Political Science in 2011.
