He remained in Wichita Falls until January 1990, when he made the move to Denison, where he worked as a meteorologist for the next three years. Additionally, he served there in the capacity of news director. When he first began working for KXAN and KNVA, it was in the years 1994 and 1995. He covered for others during the week and did the nighttime weather on the weekends. After taking a short vacation, he would go back to providing the televised weather forecasts for the 24-hour news program. You could hear him announcing games for the University of Texas softball and soccer teams during his spare time. He does this job whenever he has the opportunity.
