He has been nominated for the Emmy award for best weathercast an additional three times. The Associated Press of Tennessee presented him with the award for Best Weathercast in the state in the year 2006. Readers of both the Nashville Scene and The Tennessean have participated in reader polls and voted for him to be the number one weather conditions anchor in their respective publications. Votes for him as one of the best dressed guys in Nashville have been cast by readers of the Tennessean and The Nashville Newsgroup of media.
