Laurent Dauphin’s Playing Career
When he was younger, he was a member of a minor ice hockey team from Lanaudiere Ouest that competed in the Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament in 2007. In later years, he was a member of the College Esther-Blondin Phenix, who competed in the Quebec Major Midget AAA Hockey League (QMAAA). There, he established himself as the first player in the annals of the organization to score 100 points. In later years, he was a member of the Chicoutimi Sagueneens of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League, where he played major junior hockey for three seasons. During the 2015–16 NHL season, he made his first appearance in the league on December 29, 2015. In addition, he scored his first goal in the National Hockey League against the Vancouver Canucks on January 4, 2016. The day after, he was moved back to the American Hockey League to continue his career.
