Craig, a meteorologist, began working for FOX 17 in 2001. He is one of two people in the express to have obtained the American Meteorological Society’s Certified Broadcast Meteorologist (CBM) seal of approval.

At WCAR radio in Detroit, Kevin started his career in transmission in 1993 as a load-up administrator and low-maintenance commentator.

For the next three years, he worked as an anchor and columnist for radio news in northwest Ohio before accepting his first TV job in Clarksburg, West Virginia.

For approximately a year, he worked as a TV reporter and anchor whenever the climate office needed a replacement. In 1996, Kevin began working as a scientific journalist and morning anchor at WIFR-TV in Rockford, Illinois.

In 1998, he was hired by WKOW-TV in Madison, Wisconsin, and a private forecasting company called Weather Central to serve as the morning weather anchor.

Kevin started attending courses in the transmission meteorology program at Mississippi State University and the University of Wisconsin in Madison.

He received the highest honors for his meteorological certification in 2003 and is just a few credits away from becoming a geosciences expert. He graduated from Wayne State University in Detroit with a Bachelor of Arts in Radio, Television, and Film Communications.

For about 15 years, Kevin was FOX 17’s end-of-week meteorologist. At that moment in 2015, he moved into the Midday/4 PM/5 PM move. He was promoted to the position of Chief Meteorologist in March 2018!
