Ashman previously worked for KHBS-KHOG News as a reporter and as multimedia journalist. Michigan State University was her alma mater. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from the university, with a concentration in broadcasting. When she is not working, one of her favorite things to do is travel.

Since joining the staff of News 2 in June of 2022, Kendall has been contributing to the newscasts that air weekdays between the hours of 4-6 PM.
Prior to obtaining a job in Music City, Kendall worked for the ABC affiliate in Fayetteville, Arkansas at 40/29 News for the previous three years as a reporter and fill-in anchor. During her time in Fayetteville, Kendall reported on the extreme weather that affected Northwest Arkansas and the River Valley, the federal prosecution of Josh Duggar for child pornography, and the impact that COVID-19 had on the towns that were the most at risk.
In May 2019, Ashman enthusiastically began his role as a Reporter and Multimedia Journalist for the 40/29 newsgroup. Kendall, a proud graduate of the University of Michigan’s Spartan School of Journalism, completed an internship at TV3, Virgin Media in Dublin, Ireland, concurrently with the Detroit Fox and PBS partners.
During her time as a student, Kendall worked for Focal Point News, the award-winning news program at Michigan State University that won an Emmy grant, each of the four years as a Senior Maker, journalist, and anchor.
A half month prior to her graduation, Kendall was awarded an Emmy for her work as a Michigan understudy. The joy that Kendall derives from telling stories and the compassion that she has for other people is what inspired her to pursue a career as a journalist.
Kendall is beyond excited to launch her career in Northwest Arkansas and tell the stories of the wonderful people that make their home in this region.
