Kelly Franson Biography
Kelly Franson is a meteorologist who works in the United States. She started working as a meteorologist for KOAT Action 7 News in April of this year. Kelly is thrilled to be making the move from the Pacific Northwest to the Land of Enchantment, where she will enjoy more than 300 sunny days a year. She previously worked in television markets in various states, including Boise, Idaho, and Charlotte, North Carolina, before relocating to New Mexico from Seattle. She was born in Oregon, but she spent much of her childhood in the area surrounding Twin Falls, Idaho, which is where she just stopped by to see her parents on the way to Albuquerque.

Kelly Franson Brain Tumor
On April 1, 2010, Kelly was informed that she had a tumor in her brain. On the first of April, you are correct. She was under the impression that the physician had made a blunder by using the incorrect examination room, patient, and MRI. But then he demonstrated to her by showing the scan that it was indeed true. Two years have passed, and the fact that Kelly formerly suffered from a brain tumor is something she thinks about very infrequently.
Kelly was quite fortunate in that her tumor was discovered before it caused significant complications. It was situated in a location that made it very simple for a task to be carried out in order to remove it. She did not require any additional surgeries, radiation therapy, or chemotherapy. Her bangs, which are happily now her natural hair and not the clip-on piece that she used to cover the area that was shaved, are almost totally concealing the scar from her craniotomy. She can still feel part of the metal that was used to put her skull back together, and there is a dent in her forehead, but she is experiencing fewer and fewer headaches these days.

At KOAT Action 7 News, Kelly serves as the station’s meteorologist. In April of 2019, she became a member of the weather team. Kelly is thrilled to call the land of magic her new home, having relocated from the foggy climate of Seattle to one that boasts more than 300 days of sunshine per year. She began her career in the television industry in the city of Seattle, Washington, and has since gone on to work in various TV areas, including Boise, Idaho, and Charlotte, North Carolina. At the station, she works alongside Joe Diaz, Eric Green, and David Romero, who are also meteorologists.
Kelly has only been in this city for a few weeks, but in that time, she has already gained an appreciation for how warm and friendly the people of New Mexico are. In the course of an interview, she made the following statement: “Yes, yes I had so many people offer already when I say I don’t know anybody they say, oh here, let me give you my information in case you need anything.” They are also providing her with a wealth of knowledge on all the things that she should investigate during her free time away from work. “Yes, everyone has been telling me to take the tram, which is something that I haven’t done yet but which I will I feel like I should reward myself after unloading more boxes with a tram ride because I feel like I deserve it. I believe that to be an accurate account. I think I remember you telling me that folks in this area are quite welcoming. That is the sensation that many of us had when we first moved to this location for the first time. They have been quite pleasant to deal with. Unfortunately, I will be receiving additional boxes.
