Phang is an Anchor and Host of The Katie Phang Show on MSNBC and Peacock. She also works for Peacock. She gets two chances to introduce her brand-new show. She graduated from Miami Palmetto Senior High School in Pinecrest, Florida, where she had attended all four years of high school. Later on, she decided to enroll at Yale University, where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in political science. After that, she went to the University of Miami’s School of Law and received her Juris Doctor degree, both of which she completed in the year 2000. After that, she started working for the office of the state attorney in Miami-Dade County.

She works as a consultant on crisis management and media relations, in addition to being a trial attorney. Her law practices are concentrated in the areas of real estate litigation, hospitality litigation, commercial litigation, family law, special investigations, and criminal defense respectively. Phang is a recent Past-President of the Miami-Dade Chapter of the Florida Association for Women Lawyers and works as an Adjunct Professor of Litigation Skills at the University of Miami School of Law. Phang also teaches litigation skills at the University of Miami School of Law. She is now serving as the Chairperson of a Florida Bar Grievance Committee in addition to being a Presidential Appointee to the Board of Directors of the University of Miami Law Alumni Association.
