Jay Sekulow is an attorney who works in the United States. The American Center for Law & Justice has appointed him as Chief Counsel to serve in this capacity (ACLJ). In addition, Jay is the host of a discussion program that can be heard on both radio and television.
On both the Christian Broadcasting Network and the Fox News Channel, he provides guest commentary on a fairly consistent basis. He identifies himself as a Messianic Jew and has spent the past three decades defending conservative, religious, and pro-life organizations, during which time he has amassed a legal and media empire.
He is a member of President Donald Trump’s personal legal team, which is advising the president in connection with the conspiracy investigation into links between Trump associates and Russian officials. The investigation is being conducted by a team led by former FBI Director Robert Mueller and by various Congressional committees. He is advising the president in connection with the investigation.

Sekulow is the son of Natalie and Stanley Sekulow and was born and raised in the borough of Brooklyn in the state of New York. In Atlanta, Georgia, he attended Lakeside High School and afterwards attended Mercer University, where he received both his Bachelor of Arts and Juris Doctor degrees.
During his time at Atlanta Baptist College, which is now known as the Atlanta branch of Mercer University, Sekulow came into contact with a group called Jews for Jesus, which is what sparked his interest in Christianity and ultimately led to his conversion. He completed his dissertation research on the influence of religion on the decisions made by Supreme Court Justices and received his doctoral degree from Regent University in 2005.

Sekulow was brought up in the Jewish faith. While he was still in school, Sekulow made the decision to become a Christian, and he is now known as a Messianic Jew. The Messianic Jewish Congregation Beth Adonai in Atlanta, Georgia was established by Sekulow’s younger brother, Scott, who is also the congregation’s Rabbi. Also, Mr. Sekulow is on the Board of Trustees for The Supreme Court Historical Society, which is located in Washington, District of Columbia.
In addition to being an attorney, he is a drummer and guitarist who fronts the band known as “Jay Sekulow Band.”
