He had the privilege of covering two Division 1 FCS national championship games for the North Dakota State University football team in Frisco, Texas, as well as two conference tournament championships for the North Dakota State University men’s basketball team.
Isak spent close to two years working as a production assistant at WDAY-TV in Fargo, North Dakota, prior to beginning his employment with News 9. He contributed to the production of a broadcast that was awarded an Emmy, as well as the coverage of a presidential election and dozens of high school state tournament games that were transmitted across the state.
