After beginning her work at the WPLG in June 2021, Checkol co-anchors the weeknight newscast on WSFL at 10 p.m. and covers Local 10 news. She had previously anchored the weekday morning and midday program in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, before joining WLPG. In Madison, she has had positions as a morning reporter and a stand-in anchor.
