Diane began her career in communication newscasting at WCTV in Tallahassee, covering the state legislature, after earning a degree in Political Science from Florida State University. In 1983, WPLG extended Diane the opportunity for employment, which made it possible for her to relocate back to her previous community.
After working for Channel 10’s early afternoon newscast for a period of two years, Diane moved to the conclusion of the prior week and eventually settled in as the station’s nighttime reporter from Monday through Friday.
Diane also conceived of and served as the leader of the network administration activity known as “Magnum’s Force,” which raised over six and a half million dollars in the form of monetary donations and contributions of goods and services for needy families in South Florida.
