When she was a little girl, Danielle was her ticket to the career that she had always imagined herself having. She would sit on a barstool in her family’s dining room and deliver false news into a mirror while impersonating Romona Robinson.
In 2018, Danielle was awarded a regional Emmy Award and a Salute to Excellence Award from the National Association of Black Journalists for an episode of “Rising” that told the story of a teenager with cerebral palsy who pursued his dream of playing organized basketball.
