Cole Pepper is a well-known name in the journalism world in the United States. He currently serves as a sports anchor for WJXT4 News. Cole, a native of Kansas City, has been in charge of the sports in Jacksonville since around the year 1996.
He has done play-by-play for a variety of Jacksonville teams, such as the Suns, Tomcats, Jacksonville University, Sharks, and The Bolles School football, and he is currently doing so for the Jacksonville Armada FC, where he has also served as the team’s most memorable overseer of broadcasting.
Before coming to work for the Kansas City Star and the Associated Press in Jacksonville, Cole attended the University of Kansas and covered the activities on campus for those newspapers.
