Kira feels the experience gained will be a great asset to the company after spending seven successful years in the Television Industry, by helping to relate to and connect with the community it serves.
Working in television, she launched Multi-tiered Marketing Campaigns on social media that garner success with both ratings and viewer interactions; increased hits on one company’s website by 1000% in three months, and gained almost 1 million views on YouTube in less than four years – keep in mind most of her work is trafficked through Company Websites. Her vision is to keep News Fun, New, and Refreshing!
Kira founded her own Digital Media company, Platinum Sports Media Group, which she enterprise, produce, direct, edit, perform herself, and completely in her own free time. Staying up to date and connecting with the community comes naturally to Kira, engaging the community and performing is my passion.
She speaks the Language! A great mentor once told her to “Think Outside the Box” and “Always look for a new challenge,” So Kira transitioned from sports to news. Her creativity, attention to detail, and investigative skills have been greatly utilized in the newsroom, and she would tirelessly work to provide KVIA newsroom with everything she has to help the station be as successful as possible.
