He was a little boy when a number of significant weather events occurred, such as the Great Flood of 1993 and the 1982 “blizzard.”
For three years, Chester worked as a Saturday morning meteorologist for KSDK-TV. In 2015, he left KSDK and the United States to travel to Australia. He worked with MetService New Zealand, the country’s equivalent of the National Weather Service, for two years as a meteorologist. In April 2017, he joined KSDK-TV once more as a weekday morning meteorologist.
