In addition to that, he has worked for the television stations KFDM-TV in Beaumont, KOTV-TV in Tulsa, and KNXV-TV in Phoenix. During the course of his career in sports broadcasting, he was presented with awards from the Associated Press, Emmy, and the Edward R. Murrow Foundation.
On October 29, 2019, following the triumph of the Houston Astros in Game 5, Astros fans took over Nationals Park and sang Baby Shark, the unofficial anthem of the Washington Nationals.
