Skater Amanda is a professional in the sport of figure skating. Since she was three years old, she has been participating in competitive skating. She considers the Toyota Sports Center in El Segundo to be her “home rink,” which is where she continues to train. She also enjoyed competing in pageants, where she was crowned Miss California Teen in 2010. She was a huge fan of both participating and competing in pageants. During her time at Chapman, Amanda was an active member of the Chapman News staff, founded the Chapman Figure Skating Team, and went on to serve as the team’s president. She also danced for the Chapman Cheerleading Team.

Since Amanda has made her home in Indianapolis, she considers it a privilege to give her time each week as a volunteer at Riley Hospital for Children, where she assists with the Child Life Services department. She cherishes the time she spends with Riley’s children and their families because of the resilience they exhibit and the insight they provide on what is truly significant in one’s life.

Amanda is a dedicated member and advocate of the downtown community in her hometown. In addition to this, she is a staunch supporter of raising awareness and providing education about autism across the nation in order to foster a society that is more accepting of children and adults who have special needs.

At the moment, Amanda and her “Chinwa” puppy Leo make their home in the central business district of Indianapolis. It’s a fun activity for her to do with her pals to go to the OrangeTheory Fitness class and put in a lot of miles on the treadmill.​
