Having worked in the media for more than two centuries, Chamwada has a broad spectrum of experience. His career began in 1994 as a volunteer at KBC channel, and in 1996 he began working as a marketing executive for the foundation promoting children’s science books in Africa. He volunteered at Transworld Radio while still working as a marketing executive.
Alex started working at KBC as a reporter in August 1998 and remained there through March 1999. The next year, he quit Royal Media Services where he had been a senior correspondent to join KTN. He was promoted to the political editor while working for KTN, then in March 2008, he announced he was leaving to join Citizen TV.
